We’ve included the nutrient-packed superfood maca powder in this recipe for it’s many health benefits – balancing hormones, increasing immunity, boosting energy and focus, just to name a few.

2 frozen bananas
2 cups almond milk
1 tbsp maca powder
1/4 cup cacao powder
3 medjool dates
1 tsp cinnamon
Choc-Tahini sauce (to drizzle)
1 tbsp cacao powder
1/2 tbsp hulled tahini
1/2 tbsp maple syrup
1/2 tsp coconut oil, melted
Boiling water, add until desired consistency is reached
Peanut butter, to drizzle
- Firstly, prepare chocolate tahini sauce by combining all ingredients in a small bowl. Mix until smooth and then drizzle around the outside of 2 mason jars or glasses.
- Use a few teaspoons of smooth peanut butter to drizzle around the outside of your jars/glasses and then place in the fridge for 20-30 minutes or until chocolate has set.
- Combine all ‘mylkshake’ ingredients in a blender, blend until smooth.
- Pour into the jars, serve and enjoy.
